David J. "The Beef" LeBoeuf, 70, of Baldwinsville and Palmetto, FL, the kindest, loving and gentlest man ever, passed away Sunday, March 18, 2012 at his home with his loving wife by his side. He was born in Baldwinsville and grew up in Jordan where he was a 1959 graduate of Jordan Central High School. He received his Bachelor's Degree from Ithaca College and taught in Phoenix, NY for several years. David then got into Industrial Management working for such companies as Syracuse China, Kraft Foods, Boorum Pease and Sealtest Dairy. In 1987, David joined the Onondaga County Sheriff's Department, was a Past President of the OCSD and retired at the rank of Sgt. in 2005. He belonged to several organizations including the Liverpool Elk's #2348, the Baldwinsville Moose #649 and the Knights of Columbus in Palmetto, FL. David was an avid golfer and was a 20-year member of the Ironwood Golf Course in Baldwinsville and a past member of the Beaver Meadows Golf Club in Phoenix. He was pre-deceased by brothers Mark and Gene LeBoeuf.

Survivors: his wife of 33 years, Frances J. LeBoeuf; stepsons, Francis E. Walker, III of Ben Lomond, CA, Shamus P. Walker of St. Petersburg, FL and Thomas F. DeMayo of Ben Lomond, CA; brothers, Daniel of Powell, TN and Louis of Pennellville, NY; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are 3-6pm Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville with a service to follow at 6:00pm. Burial will be private.
