Danny W. Falter, 61, of Baldwinsville passed away at home on Friday with his loving family by his side. He was born in Syracuse and was employeed as a truckdriver with Scholastic Book Fairs of East Syracuse for the past 8 years. Danny served in the US Army as a MP during the Vietnam War. Danny was a member of the VFW Post 153 and the Moose Lodge 644. He was pre-deceased by his brother, Gene Falter in 1999.

Survivors: His wife of 37 years, Della (Gioia) Falter of Baldwinsville; His Father Edgar Falter of Baldwinsville; children, Kimberlee (Jason) Perkins of Baldwinsville; and Danny Falter Jr. of Baldwinsville; his sister Kimberlee (Ronald) Hoover of Mattydale and a brother; Mark (Pamela) Falter of Baldwinsville; grand-daughter, Hailee Perkins of Baldwinsville.

Services: 7:00 p.m. Monday, January 19, 2009 at Falardeau Funeral Home, Inc., 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. Calling hours are 4-7 p.m. Monday, prior to the service. Burial will be in the Spring.
