Daniel Ziemba, 76, passed away on September 24, 2025, in Phoenix, NY in the comfort of his home surrounded by loving family.

He was born on May 29, 1949, in Syracuse, NY, to Michael Ziemba and Martha Ziemba.

Daniel graduated from Corcoran High School in 1967. He joined the Army in 1968 in the 82nd Airborne.

He retired from Crouse Hinds as a machinist after 40 years.

Daniel married Darla Ziemba (Haynes) on November 5th, 1988 in Cicero, NY. The couple had 2 children, Joshua Ziemba (Ashley Slattery) of Phoenix, NY and Andrew Ziemba of Phoenix, NY.

He was best known for bowling, hunting, fishing, and watching the Channel 9 News (picture of the day!).

Daniel is survived by Darla Ziemba - wife of 37 years, of Phoenix, NY, Joshua Ziemba -son, of Phoenix, NY, Andrew Ziemba -son, of Phoenix, NY, Judy Felicia (Marty Felicia) -sister, of Liverpool, NY, two granddaughters, Aubree Ziemba and Amaya Ziemba and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Daniel is preceded in death by Michael Ziemba - father, Martha Ziemba(Taukus) - mother, and Gerald Ziemba - brother.

The graveside services for Daniel Ziemba will be held on Thursday, October 2nd, 2025 at 11am at Jacksonville Cemetery, Lysander, NY.

There will be a gathering directly following the services at Julie Sheradin's house (next door from Dan and Darla's house) at 500 County Line Rd, , Phoenix, NY, 13135
