Obituary

Daniel Iannicello, 95, of Baldwinsville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 27, 2026. Born in Solvay, he was employed as a Lithographer for 43 years with Syracuse Lithographers, retiring in 1996.

Dan will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his strong work ethic, and his steady presence. He took great pride in his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He enjoyed time spent bowling, golfing, and gathering with loved ones.

Dan was Army veteran and former member of the American Legion Post 1276 in Eastwood and VFW Post 2894 in Solvay. Dan was a member of the Solvay-Geddes vets. He was a communicant of St. Augustine's Church for over 60 years.

Dan was predeceased by his wife Agnes in 2019; and his son, Daniel in 2012. Sisters Josephine, Rosemary, Carmella, and brothers Nicholas, Tony, and, Louis.

Surviving are his son, David Iannicello, (Mary Gay), of Fayetteville, daughters, Ann Marie (John) Daley of Florida, Mary Kay Iannicello of Fayetteville, Lori (George) Seymour of Baldwinsville; and daughter in law, Cheryl Iannicello of Warners; sister, Mary, and brother, Mario; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, February 8, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, February 9, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Augustine's Church, 7333 O'Brien Rd., Baldwinsville. Dan will be laid to rest in the Blessed Sacrament Corridor of St. Mary's Cemetery Mausoleum, DeWitt. Reception following, details to follow.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to TrustBridge Hospice of Palm Beach County, Florida or Solvay-Geddes Vets.
