Daniel C. Herbert, 55, of Village Blvd. South, Baldwinsville, died Friday, December 6, 2002 at his home. Born in Syracuse, he lived in Baldwinsville for the last 18 years. He graduated from North Syracuse High School and attended State University College at Oswego and Syracuse University. He was a communicant of St. Augustine's Church, a Little League at Reeves Field, Baldwinsville, and a den father for Cub Scout Pack 289. He was an Army veteran of Vietnam.

Surviving: His wife, the former Martina N. Hanrahan; a daughter, Heidi M. Potenza of Buffalo; two sons, Ian F. of Baldwinsville and Daniel C. of Nashville, Tenn.; his mother, Agnes N. Herbert of Cicero; two sisters, Marilyn H. Clyne of Oswego and Paula Herbert of Cicero.

Services: 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 12, 2002 at St. Augustine's Church, Baldwinsville. Burial, Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Clay. Calling hours, 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 11, 2002, at the funeral home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville.
