Daniel "Dan" Faes, 63, of Phoenix, passed away Sunday March 15, 2026.

Born in Syracuse, New York Daniel proudly served in the U.S. Air Force. Daniel was known for his great sense of humor and his sweet nature. He found great joy in fishing and spending time with family. 

Daniel will be remembered for his laughter, his gentle spirit and the love he had for those closest to him. Dan was predeceased by his parents, Richard and Janet Faes.

Surviving are his children, Sanya (Mike VanHorn) Merrill, Daniel and Kimberly Faes; brother; sisters; grandchildren; nieces and nephews.A calling hour will be held on Monday, March 23, from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville.

 A funeral service will follow at 6 p.m. Burial will be private.
