Claude E. "Butch" Collar, 59, of Baldwinsville, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at Crouse Hospital. He was born in Syracuse and has lived in the Baldwinsville area most of his life. He was a 1968 graduate of C.W. Baker High School in Baldwinsville and was a Newspaper Distributor for the Post-Standard for 25 years. Claude was an avid bowler and also enjoyed playing softball. He was pre-deceased by his grandson Kyle and mother Ruth in 2002 and his father Donald in 1982.

Survivors: his son, Christopher L. Collar of Baldwinsville; his daughter, Michelle L. (William) Murray of Fulton; granddaughter Skylar; and his brother Rick of New York City.

Calling hours are 4-7pm Thursday, December 17, 2009 at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville. Services are 11:00am Friday, December 18, 2009 at the funeral home, 93 Downer St. Spring Burial, Union Hill Cemetery, Cato.
