Clara Brauksieck Farrell, 101, of Baldwinsville, passed away Thursday, April 8, 2010, at Syracuse Home Assoc. She was born in Cincinnati, OH and lived in Baldwinsville most of her life. She was co-owner and operator of Farrell Plumbing & Heating in Baldwinsville for many years with her husband Kenneth T. Farrell, who pre-deceased her in 1997. Clara belonged to the First Baptist Church in Baldwinsville where she was a member of the Fidelity Group and the Church Choir. She was a Charter and Life Member of the Baldwinsville Volunteer Fire Dept. Ladies Auxillary. Clara was also pre-deceased by her daughter, Donnella L. VanDerveer and grandson, Kevin VanDerveer, both in 1995.

Survivors: daughter, Ann F. Hart of Baldwinsville; sons-in-law, Claude Reith of Baldwinsville and Jack VanDerveer of Cicero; sisters, Henrietta Manuel of Aberdeen, MD and Alice Dunham of Baldwinsville; brothers, James Brauksieck of Baldwinsville and William Brauksieck of Plainville; 8 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Services: 10:00am Wednesday, April 14, 2010, at the First Baptist Church, Baldwinsville. Burial in Plainville Cemetery, Plainville. Calling hours are 4-7pm Tuesday, April 13, 2010, at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville.
