Claire Therese Francis Gilhooly, 26, entered into eternal life on July 20, 2026. She was born May 16, 2000-a Jubilee year-in Laconia, New Hampshire, to Thomas and Marianne Gilhooly.

She was predeceased by her grandparents, Leonard and Kathleen Wagner, and James Gilhooly. Claire is survived by her parents, Thomas and Marianne Gilhooly; grandmother, Diane Gilhooly; her brother, Fr. Eric Gilhooly, LC; her sisters, Andrea Evans, Lauren (Michael) Falcone, Grace Gilhooly and her fiancé Sean, Monica (Nicholas) Simmons, and Mary (John) Fortino; as well as her niece, Lily, and nephews, Anthony and Vincent; and many loving aunts and uncles.

The family would like to recognize and express their sincere gratitude to all of the homecare nurses, doctors, hospital staff, therapists, and those who prayed for Claire's happiness and well-being throughout the years.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, July 24, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer Street, Baldwinsville, NY 13027. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 25, at St. Mary's of the Assumption, 47 Syracuse Street, Baldwinsville, NY 13027, with burial immediately following at St. Mary's Cemetery on Tappan Street in Baldwinsville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Claire's memory to New Hope Family Services or L'Arche Syracuse.
