Christine (Chris) Hamm Meloling, 76 years old was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania February 7, 1945 to Sara Evans Hamm and Ernest W. Hamm Jr., a soldier in World War II. After Ernie got back from the war they moved to Baldwinsville which was Ernie's hometown. Chris went to Baldwinsville Schools and graduated in 1963 then went to nursing school for three years at Community General Hospital. She was an operating room nurse at Community General Hospital for over 20 years and helped set up the One-Day Surgery Center there. Chris married Richard (Dick) C. Meloling of Baldwinsville on August 6, 1966. They were married for 55 years this past August. Chris and Dick enjoyed camping and traveling with family and friends. Chris was also an avid cross stitcher and won several ribbons at the NY State Fair for pieces she had done. Chris and Dick also belonged to a Bunko group with wonderful friends for over 30 years.
Chris is predeceased by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Dick, daughters Hilary Marketta (Robert) of Baldwinsville and Sarah Florczyk (C. Scott) of Tampa, Fl.; four grandchildren, Noah, Luke, Isabella, and Chase Marketta; and brother, Edgar "Butch" Hamm.
Calling hours are 2-4 pm Saturday, October 23 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St, Baldwinsville. A service will directly follow at 4pm. Burial is 12 pm Monday, October 25 at Riverview Cemetery.

Chris will be sorrowfully missed by her family and many friends and her faithful dog Hogan. We love you with all our hearts and miss you every minute of every day.
