Charles J. Viau, 74 of Baldwinsville passed away at home on September 6, surrounded by his family.



Charlie was born in Canada to the late Milton and Therese Viau, and was raised in Baldwinsville where he graduated from C.W. Baker High School. Charlie and his first wife, the former Nancy Johnston, operated Charlie's Riverside Inn located in Fulton for many years. He was a former member of Laborers Local 214 and most recently worked for the Lysander Parks Department. Some of Charlie's favorite hobbies were wood crafting and gardening.





In addition to his parents, Charlie is predeceased by his sister, Claudette Beck. Surviving, is his wife of 24 years Dawn Dunham Viau; son, Jeffrey Viau, daughter, Darcy Viau; 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and many nieces, nephews and friends. Calling hours will be held on Friday, September 9, from 4-7 PM at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville.
