Charles D. McCarthy, 97, of Baldwinsville died Thursday, February 23, 2023 at St. Camillus. He was born in Detroit, MI. Charles was a member of the 87th Infantry Division in WWII, a graduate of Clarkson University, and a communicant of St. Mary' Church in Baldwinsville.

Charles was predeceased by his wife of 41 years, Ina J. McCarthy in 2006.

Surviving are three sons, Charles K. of Frisco, TX, Duffy F. of Danbury, CT and Patrick J. of Danbury, CT; three grandchildren and several nieces.

Calling hours will be held from 2-5 pm, Sunday, February 26, 2023 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St. Baldwinsville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM Monday at St. Mary's Church, Baldwinsville.
