Obituary

Charles W. Lee, Sr., 76, of Leesburg, FL, died Monday, October 18, 2004 at his home. He was born in East Syracuse and has lived most of his life in the Baldwinsville area. He played semi-pro football for the Syracuse Stars in the 1950's and coached Little League Baseball for many years. He retired in 1989 from Jardines Bronze Foundry in Baldwinsville after 39 years, and was previously employed with Morris Pumps. He was a member of the Foundryman's American Society and was a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus, Council 5082 in Baldwinsville. He was a communicant of St. Paul's Church, Leesburg and of St. Mary's Church, Baldwinsville where he was past president of its Holy Name Society.

Survivors: his wife, the former Eunice H. Sanderson; two daughters, Charlene M. Brant of Chittenango and Charessa M. Padula of Ovieda, FL; one son, Charles W. Lee, Jr., of St. Louis, MO; one sister, Barbara Gridley of Truxton, NY; three brothers, Frederick, William and Edward all of the Baldwinsville area; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Services: 10:30am Friday, October 22, 2004 at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville and 11:00am at St. Mary's Church, Baldwinsville. Burial, St. Mary's Cemetery, Baldwinsville. Calling hours are 2-4 and 7-9pm Thursday, October 21, 2004 at the funeral home, 93 Downer Street.
