Obituary

Charles F. Hauswirth, 78, of Baldwinsville died Wednesday, March 16, 2005 at St. Josephs Hospital, Syracuse. Charles lived most of his life in the Baldwinsville area and retired as a truckdriver after many years of driving. He was also a member of the Teamsters Union, a Marine Corp Veteran of WWII and a member of the Salt City VFW Post. He was predeceased by one daughter, Patricia Sofia, two sons, Charles F., Jr. and Vernon, and four brothers, Harold, Bill, Vernon and Ray.

Survivors: his wife of 59 years, Shirley V. ; two daughters, Charlene Revette of Baldwinsville and June Hauswirth of Belleview, FL; five sons, Harold of Camillus, John of Baldwinsville, Donald of Belleview, FL, James of Baldwinsville and Wayne Shofft of Syracuse; two sisters, Marie Guiles of Liverpool and Gladys Moore of Clay; 21 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Services: 7:00pm Saturday, March 19, 2005 at Falardeau Funeral Home, Burial, Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Syracuse. Calling hours are 4-7pm Saturday at the funeral home, 93 Downer St., prior to the service.
