Charles Edward Goodman, 78, of Hampstead, NC passed away Sunday, April 6, 2003 at his daughter's home in Baldwinsville, NY. He was born in Ashland, KY. He was an Army Veteran of WWII in the 13th Airborne Division and also a 1950 graduate of the Citadel in Charleston, SC where he was a quaterback for their football team. He retired in 1985 as a Civil Engineer at Stone & Webster Engineering after 34 years. He is pre-deceased by his wife Margaret Johnson Goodman who passed away in September 2002 and his daughter Sandra J. Riley who passed away in March 2002.

Surviving are two daughters, Cheryl L. Bonney of Baldwinsville, NY and Susan G. Castignetti of Saugus, Mass.; a brother, John Goodman of Pasadena, TX; 6 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 11:00am, Saturday, June 14, 2003 at St. Mary's Chapel, Baldwinsville. Burial will be at Onondaga County Veterans Cemetery, Syracuse, NY.
