Charles Cochrane, 85, passed away Saturday with his loving wife at his side, at The Centers at St. Camillus. He was born in Phoenix, NY to Edward and Irene Waldron Cochrane. Charlie was a Private in the US Marine Corps and Owner of Cochrane Construction. He worked hard and was a devoted husband and father. His door was always open for friends or those in need. Charlie loved his family camp at Sandy Pond and treasured time spent with friends and family. Most of all, he Loved.
Charlie is predeceased by his parents, Sister Gloria Webb and brothers, Edward, Donald and Ralph Cochrane.
Charles is survived by his wife of 62 years, Regina Evans Cochrane; children Aimee (Butch) VanWie, Charles Jr.(Dawne Ann), Jeffrey (Gretchen), Patrick (Valerie), and Edward (Lisa) Cochrane; sisters, Gladys Sponable, Margaret Butler, and Beverly Donabella ; grandchildren, Kris VanWie, Kate VanWie, Jessica Peterson, Janette Gomez, Jacqueline LaPierre, Amanda Cochrane, Jenna Cochrane, Ryan Cochrane, Nate Gresock, Emily Stevens, Patrick Cochrane, Sam Cochrane and Nick Cochrane; great –grandchildren, Genevieve VanWie, Kristopher VanWie, Georgia VanWie, Aidan Peterson, Rowen Peterson, Finn Peterson, Jacob Gomez, Junior Gomez, Isaiah Gomez, Josiah Gomez, Micah Gomez, Ashlynn LaPierre, Manny Stevens, Isaac Stevens, Penelope Cochrane and Patrick Cochrane; and Several Nieces and Nephews.
Calling hours are 4-7 pm Wednesday, May 22nd at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St, Baldwinsville NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10am Thursday, May 23rd at St. Mary's Church in Baldwinsville NY. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Baldwinsville NY.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the VA of Syracuse.
