Charles E. Berry, 72, of Baldwinsville passed away Sunday, September 10, 2006 at Francis House surrounded by his family and close friends. He was born in New Gloucester, ME, raised in Marcellus and lived in Baldwinsville for the past 29 years. Charles retired from Niagara Mohawk after 36 years with the company and continued to work part time at Chase Pitkin. He was a United States Marine Corps Veteran of the Korean War. Charles was an inspiration in his strength and faith to family and friends during his long and courageous fight with cancer.

Survivors: his wife of 32 years, Mary Anita Berry; his children, Deborah Jean Berry of Durham, NC, Peter Berry of Raleigh, NC, Angela Grouse of Livonia, NY, Mary Jean Schlesinger of Bethesda, MD, Robert Berry of Baldwinsville, Michael Berry; their spouses; 13 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; his brother, Richard Berry of Camillus; several nieces and nephews.

Services: 10:00 am Saturday, September 23, 2006, at Fulton Alliance Church, 1044 State Route 48, Fulton, NY. Burial in Riverview Cemetery, Baldwinsville. Calling hours are 5-8pm Friday, September 22, 2006 at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville, NY.
