Carol Jean Wilson, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend passed away peacefully on January 2,2025 surrounded by her family at her daughter's home at the age of 75. She was born on April 16,1949 in Syracuse, NY and spent her life dedicated to her family and friends.

Carol was a devoted homemaker who found enjoyment in raising her two daughters. She cherished every moment spent with her six grandchildren. Her home was a gathering place filled with warmth and laughter, where family and friends were treated liked cherished guests.

An avid party planner, Carol had a knack for bringing people together. Her love for music was evident in her passion for playing the keyboard, attending her grandchildren's concerts and recitals and dancing. Embodying her caring spirit and commitment to giving back, Carol spent countless hours creating hats and blankets for newborns, stuffed toys for hospitalized children, and care packages for new moms. Her deep faith in Jesus was central to her life as she loved attending worship services, participating and hosting Bible studies and sharing her heartfelt love for the Lord.

Carol is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Craig Wilson. She is also survived by her daughter, Barbara Williams and son-in-law, Scott Williams, daughter Linda Bowers and son-in-law Nigel Bowers, grandchildren: Emily, Andrew, Hannah and Hope Williams and Aidan and Abigail Bowers. She is also survived by her sisters Nancy Woods and Marjorie Gorney, brother-in-law Carl Schmidt and cherished nieces and nephews. Preceded in joining the Lord: her parents Lee and Hazel (Jelliff) McCasland, brother, Leon McCasland, sisters: Joyce Thomas, Marlene Caswell, and Martha Schmidt.

She will be profoundly missed by all who knew her as she was truly a light in this world.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2025 from 10:00-11:30 at Falardeau Funeral Home at 93 Downer Street in Baldwinsville, NY 13027 with funeral at 11:30. Burial at Riverview Cemetery to follow.
