Carol B. Bowden, 80, of Baldwinsville, passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at her home. She was born in Auburn and has lived in Baldwinsville since 1960. She received her BA degree from Elmira College in 1951 and was a 2nd grade teacher at McNamara Elementary School in Baldwinsville for 23 years before retiring in 1998. Carol was pre-deceased by her son, Daniel Bowden in 1994.

Survivors: three daughters, Sarah (Carl) Lamanna of LaFayette, NY, Martha Bowden of Sacramento,CA and Susan (Dean) Connery of Baldwinsville; a brother, Ralph Buckingham of Camillus; 6 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Services: 7:00pm Friday, November 20, 2009 at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville. Burial, Soule Cemetery, Auburn. Calling hours are 4-7pm Friday at the funeral home, 93 Downer St., prior to the service.
