Carmelita M. Galime of Baldwinsville passed away peacefully on September 5, 2026. She was born in Utica and moved with her husband and family to Baldwinsville in 1962. Family and friends called her "Carm." Carm was an artist who enjoyed ceramics, drawing and painting. For many years Carm owned a successful ceramic business where she made many friends. In her later years, she liked to puzzle with her children. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Dominick Galime and her cherished daughter Linda Heffernan. Also predeceased by her siblings Patricia Ventura, Anthony Spatuzzi and Willinette Harris.

Carm is survived by her children Steven Galime (Ralph Vincent), Jean Ann Saxton (Frederick), son-in-law Richard Heffernan and two grandchildren Richard Heffernan III (Kristen), and Brian Heffernan (Alyssa). She is also survived by four precious great grandchildren Noah, Olivia, Leighton and Lucas.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. Funeral services will be private.
