Carl D. Overton, 73, of Baldwinsville, NY passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, August 26, 2025. He was born in Providence RI, raised in Coventry, and attended high school at La Salle Academy. Carl later went on to receive a Bachelor's from Boston College and achieved two Master's degrees from Louisiana State University before launching his professional career as the owner of Crim's Furniture in Central Square and later expanding to Fayetteville, NY. He thoroughly enjoyed serving Central NY and helping raise his family of four loving children. After a brief retirement in the early 2000's, Carl, never one to sit still, went back to work for Raymour & Flanigan Furniture for another 10+ years until his final retirement. He spent his final years as a passionate Syracuse Orangeman and New England Patriots fan, diligently improving his home, avidly golfing, visiting his friends and loved ones across the country, and spending quality time with his wife.

Carl was predeceased by his late wife, Nina; and parents, Edward and Helene Overton. He is survived by his wife, Colleen; children, Craig (Anesha), of NC; CTTC Adam (Sarah), of Japan; Patrick (Amelia) of MD; Dr. Kelly (Tyler) Campbell, NH; two brothers, Ted (Sandy) Overton of RI; Paul (Cindy) Overton of RI; and sister, Lynn (David) Bennet of FL. Additionally, eleven grandchildren, Alloysia, Alajne, Maddie, Emily, Kyla, Caiden, Colten, Nariyah, Jack, Charlotte, and Tatum; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held Saturday, August 30, 2025 from 2 to 4 p.m.with a service to follow at 4 pm at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville, NY 13027.
