Carl R. Johnson, 73, of Syracuse passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at home. He was born in N. Syracuse to parents James & Frances Sutherland Johnson and was a graduate of North High School. He was a member of the Laborers Local 40 & 433 and worked for several construction companies over the years including Allan T. Brown Const. Co., Broadmoor Const. Co. and Industrial Contractors before retiring on August 1, 1994. Carl was a communicant of St. Augustine's Church in Baldwinsville and was predeceased by four sisters, Lynwood Ellison, Barbara Procopio, Lucille Gregory and Almeda Johnson and two brothers, Donald and Robert.

Survivors: his wife of 50 years, the former Margaret M. Cimini; three daughters, Charlene Johnson-Allen of Dekalb Junction, Denise & George Wolcik of Baldwinsville and Lisa & Kevin Perry of Liverpool; three sisters, Elaine Acosta of Niagara Falls, Beverly Palmer and Charolette Palmer both of Syracuse; a brother Richard of Lysander; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Services: 9:30am Friday, July 6, 2007 at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville and 10:00am at St. Augustine's Church Baldwinsville, Burial, St. Mary's Cemetery, Baldwinsville. Calling hours are 2-4 & 7-9pm Thursday, July 5, 2007 at the funeral home, 93 Downer St..
