Betty passed away at home, surrounded by family, after fighting a courageous battle against cancer. Born in Malone, NY, Betty grew up in Baldwinsville. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching and took a lot of enjoyment feeding the birds, while she had her coffee outside in the mornings. She spent most of her life, caring for others as a nurse's aid and eventually graduating from nursing school as a licensed practical nurse.

She is survived by daughter, Christina (Justin) Wallace; sons: Mark (christal) Harris Jr., Michael Vredeveld, and Denell (Korey Carr) Horn; sisters: Susan Payne, Donna Veres, Jean Riegleman; 10 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held Thrusday, July 27 from 4-6pm at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer Street, Baldwinsville. A celebration of life, will be held for friends and family at the Baldwinsville VFW on the corner of Rte 370 and Wood St. after the calling hours.
