Betty Aller Mawhinney, 87, of Margaret Street, Baldwinsville, died Sunday, November 3, 2002. Born in Clay, she lived in Baldwinsville most of her life. She retired from the executive dining room of Crucible Specialty Metals and had worked for 20 years at Schrafft's in Syracuse. She was a member of Daughters of the Civil War. Her husband, John R., died in 1966.

Survivors: Two daughters, Patricia L. Mawhinney of Baldwinsville and Ellen E. Mawhinney of Washington, D.C.

Services: Will be private. Burial, St. Mary's Cemetery, Baldwinsville. Calling hours, 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, November 5, 2002, at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville.
