Betty E. Holt Littau, 83, of Syracuse died Friday, December 30, 2005 at Community-General Hospital. She was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, raised in Amarillo, TX and resided in Syracuse since 1950. Betty was a member of the United Church of Christ of Bayberry and the Canton Woods Senior Center in Baldwinsville. She was a former member of the VanBuren Republican Committee and the VanBuren Women's Republican Club. Betty enjoyed crocheting, leather work and other various crafts. She was predeceased by a son James in 1985.

Survivors: her husband of 65 years, Robert L. Littau; a son Richard A. (Doris) Littau of Amarillo, TX; a daughter, Patricia (David) Minnoe of Baldwinsville; a daughter-in-law, Judith Littau of Baldwinsville; a sister, Mary Lessaongang of Syracuse; 10 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Services: 10:00am Wednesday, January 4, 2006 at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville with Rev. Mark Lawson officiating. Burial in Riverview Cemetery. Calling hours are 4-7pm Tuesday, January 3, 2006 at the funeral home, 93 Downer Street.
