Betty Richardson Cooper, 87, of Baldwinsville passed away peacefully Monday, August 17, 2009, at home surrounded by her loving family. Betty was born July 5, 1922 in Mexico, NY. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Baldwinsville. Betty graduated from the Mexico Academy and Central School and Syracuse Secretarial School. She was employed as secretary to the manager of the New York Life Insurance Company for several years. She was then employed by Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation until retiring in 1951. Betty did volunteer work for Community Hospital and was a driver for the Baldwinsville Volunteer Center for several years. Family and friends were among the most treasured things to Betty and she loved her time with both. She will be sorely missed by those whose lives she touched.

Survivors: her husband of 60 years, Ray; a daughter, Debra Fetterolf (Craig) of Raleigh, NC; a son, Kevin Cooper (Beth) of Baldwinsville; a granddaughter, Taylor Fetterolf and three grandsons, Cory Fetterolf, Adam Cooper and Jacob Cooper.

Services: at the convenience of the family. Burial in Riverview Cemetery. Calling hours are 4-7pm Wednesday, August 19, 2009, at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St. Baldwinsville, NY.
