Beth "Gene" Peck-Zyjewski, 81, of Syracuse died Saturday, February 10, 2007 at St. Josephs Hospital, Syracuse. She was born in Summer Hill and lived in the Baldwinsville area for many years. She retired from the Crouse Irving & Pathology Assoc. of Syracuse after 28 years. She recently worked for the Town of VanBuren Board of Elections and was a member of the Samson WWII Navy Auxillary. Gene was an avid Sky Chiefs fan and attended many games. She was pre-deceased by her 1st husband, Roy E. Peck in 1979.

Survivors: her husband of 9 years, Richard Zyjewski; 3 step-daughters, Carol Vincequerra of AZ, Kathi Zyjewski and Terri (Sherman) Wagner of Syracuse; 2 step-sons, Roy Peck, Jr. and Richard T. Zyjewski of FL; 4 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Services: 11:00am Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at St. Mary's Church, Baldwinsville. Burial, Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Syracuse. Calling hours are 2-5pm Monday, February 12, 2007 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville.
