Bernice C. Kochan, 96 of Baldwinsville passed away Wednesday at Crouse Hospital. She was born in Rochester on September 14, 1919 the daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret Vogel Cyr. Bernice retired from Cathedral Candle Company after 30 years of service. She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church. Predeceased by her husband, Howard; brothers: Gerald and Joseph; sister: Margaret. Bernice is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Buehner of Liverpool; sister, Jean Graf; grandsons: Wayne, Michael and James Buehner; great-grandchildren: Robert, Trisha, Jamie, Damien, Brandon and Jade; great-great-grandchildren: Kaylee and Conner; several nieces and nephews.


Funeral service will be held at 9:00 am Saturday, July 16 at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St, Baldwinsville and a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am in St Mary's Church, 47 Syracuse St, Baldwinsville. No prior visitation as it was Bernice's request. Burial will be in Woodlawn Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
