Bernice E. Marsh Brayton, 61, of Oswego Street, Baldwinsville, died Wednesday. Born in Auburn, she moved to Baldwinsville in 1966. She graduated from Port Byron High School and Geneva School of Nursing. She retired in 1994 after 30 years as a nurse for the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Syracuse.

Survivors: Her husband of 35 years, Earnest C.; two daughters, Kim J. Russ of Phoenix and Kristina M. Brayton of Baldwinsville; two sons, Roger L. of Phoenix and Peter A. of Oswego; three sisters, Terry West and Nancy Linn, both of Boynton Beach, Fla., and Margureite Muller of Doctors Inlet, Fla.; two brothers, Clayton Marsh of Auburn and Romayne Marsh of Philadelphia; three grandchildren.

Services: 10 a.m. Friday at Falardeau Funeral Home. Burial, Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Calling hour, 9 to 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville.
