Bernard G. Chapin, 81, of Baldwinsville died Monday, March 26, 2007 at St. Josephs Hospital. He was born in Fly Creek, NY and has lived in the Baldwinsville area for over 50 years. He retired after many years as a truck driver for Pennsylvania Truck Lines in E. Syracuse. Bernard especially enjoyed going to his family cottage every year in Westport, Ontario.

Survivors: his wife of 44 years, Alice M. Doran; 2 daughters, Sandra J. Chapin and Lisa A. Chapin both of Balwinsville; 2 sons, Dr. Kevin B. Chapin of Melbourne Beach, FL and Brian G. Chapin and daughter-in-law Tina Chapin of Lakeland; 3 grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Hope Chapin of Ormand Beach, FL; and several nieces and nephews.

Services: 10:00am Saturday, March 31, 2007 at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville. Burial, St. Mary's Cemetery, Baldwinsville. Calling hours are 4-7pm Friday, March 30, 2007 at the funeral home, 93 Downer St.
