Barry David Smith, 53, of Liverpool, NY died Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at St. Josephs Hospital, Syracuse. He was born in Chester, PA and was a 1971 graduate of Penncrest High School in Lima, PA. Barry attended Penn State. He owned and trained racehorses from the age of 18. Barry was an independent ACN Representative and also worked with Preferred Equine Marketing and Em's Candies. He moved to Liverpool in 1999 and whole-heartedly enjoyed the outdoors, gardening and spending time with his nieces and nephews. Barry was able to be a Tissue Donor to continue to help others, as was his nature.

Survivors: wife Dawn E.; two sisters, Linda (Bill) Allanach of TX and Cynthia (Mark) Deerfield of HI; three brothers, Rick (Pam) of FL, Jeff (Jane) of PA and Steven of PA; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services will be at 3:00pm Sunday, April 29, 2007 at the Howlett Hill Fire Hall, 3384 Howlett Hill Road, Syracuse, NY 13215, with reception to follow.
