Barbara A. Tanner, 86, of Baldwinsville passed away Sunday, February 28, 2010 at Birchwood Health Care Center, Liverpool. She was born in Syracuse and has lived in Baldwinsville since 1960. She worked as a typesetter at Brown Newspapers in Baldwinsville for several years and enjoyed spending 14 winters in Gulf Shores, AL. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Francis D. Tanner in 2000.

Survivors: daughter Jane D. Tanner and her husband Andrew Rowe of Parish, NY; son, Gerald "Jerry" A. Tanner and his wife Lynn of Baldwinsville; sister, Susan A. Zimmerman of Syracuse; and several nieces and nephews.

Services: 7:00pm Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. Burial, Riverview Cemetery, Baldwinsville. Calling hours are 4-7pm Wednesday, prior to the service.
