Barbara A. Steele, 83, of Baldwinsville passed away unexpectedly Monday. She was a resident of Baldwinsville most of her life. Barbara was the Librarian at St. Mary's Academy for many years and a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Baldwinsville where she volunteered for the funeral team, altar care and various charity programs.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband Ronald Steele in 2008 and her brother Joseph Reinschmidt.
Surviving are her children, Beth M. Robson of Baldwinsville and Jeffrey P. (Faith) Steele of Pineville, NC; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a cousin Mary Agnes Tierney; a niece and a nephew.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 AM Saturday, January 7, 2017 at St. Mary's Church, 47 Syracuse St., Baldwinsville with burial to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Calling hours are 4-7pm Friday at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville.
