Barbara J. Bush Sharpe, 71, of Baldwinsville died Tuesday, June 21, 2005 surrounded by her family at home. She was born in Syracuse and lived in the area all her life. Barbara was predeceased by her husband Francis "Boots" in December 1997 and a son, Richard "Rick" in April 1990.

Survivors: two daughters, Deborah Peterson of No. Syracuse and Rebecca Smith of Baldwinsville; a son, Michael (Sally) of Baldwinsville; four sisters, Helen (Nick) Budinock of Wolcott, Alice Rinaldi of Stuart, FL, Patricia (Mario) Majewski of Syracuse and Marilyn (Bob) Crolick of No. Syracuse; seven grandchildren, Bryan Peterson, Amy (Jarrod) Collins, Melissa Smith, Heather Smith, Jessica Sharpe, Tina Sharpe and Kaleigh Sharpe; two great-grandchildren, Emily Peterson and Connor Burke; several nieces and nephews.

Services: 9:30am Friday, June 24, 2005 at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville and 10:00am at St. Mary's Church. Burial in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Syracuse. Calling hours are 4-7pm Thursday, June 23, 2005 at the funeral home, 93 Downer Street.
