Barbara A. Quinn, born on December 24, 1957, in Pittston, Pennsylvania, passed away unexpectedly on January 13, 2026. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Richard Quinn; her cherished daughter, Caryn Costanza; her son-in-law, Thomas Costanza; and her adored granddaughters, Quinn and Penelope Costanza. She is also survived by her sister, Elaine Freiler, and her brother-in-law, Ernie Freiler. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, William Stanish and Alice Stanish.
Barbara was a proud graduate who earned a Master's degree and went on to build a meaningful and rewarding career as a financial analyst at Bristol Myers Squibb in East Syracuse, New York. While she took pride in her professional accomplishments, Barbara's greatest passion was her love for life and the people around her.
She was especially known for her vibrant garden, which bloomed with color and beauty and reflected her nurturing spirit. Her joyful nature was also evident during family vacations, where she created lasting memories at the beach and on the boat with those she loved most.
Barbara's greatest joy came from spending time with her granddaughters, her family, and her many dear friends. She cherished every moment with them, whether relaxing by the pool or sharing stories by the river.
Barbara's warmth, kindness, and zest for life touched everyone she met. Her legacy of love and joy will be remembered and celebrated by all who knew her.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, January 21, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, January 22, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, 47 Syracuse St., Baldwinsville. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.
