Barbara J. Hartnett Wolfe Knowlto, 71, of Cortland died Thursday, July 3, 2003 at Cortland Memorial Hospital. Pre-deceased by a daughter, Lynnora Baker in 1991.

Survivors: Husband of 23 years, Floyd E. Knowlton; seven daughters; Barbara J. Hopkins of Port Byron, Roxanne E. Greenwood of Gibsonton, FL, Corinne F. Garner of E. Syracuse, Francine T. St. Andrews of Richlands, NC, Ailene E. Wolfe of Syracuse, Clarissa D. Wolfe of Martville and Holly A. Fisher of Oak Hill, WV; five sons, August W. Wolfe, Jr. of Cortland; Keith J. Wolfe, Darold D. Wolfe, and Edward M. Wolfe all of Syracuse, Gordon B. Wolfe of Wiamia, FL; a sister, Rita F. Wolfe of Martville; 47 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
