Barbara J. Gamage, 75, of Baldwinsville, passed away Thursday, May 31, 2007 at Crouse Hospital, Syracuse. She was born in Watertown, graduated from Albany State and received her Masters Degree in Education from St. Lawrence University. She taught English at Evans Mills, General Brown and Baldwinsville High Schools. She retired in 1987 after 35 years of dedicated teaching. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Baldwinsville. Barbara was an avid sports fan and also enjoyed reading and playing cards. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert, in 2003.

Survivors: a daughter, Karen R. (James) Blair of Pennellville; a son, Kevin R. (Terri) of Syracuse; 3 grandchildren, Amanda, Matthew and Justin; a sister, Mary Bryant of New Smyrna Beach, FL; a nephew and several cousins; and her beloved cat Casper.

Services: 6:00pm Tuesday, June 5, 2007 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville. Private burial in North Watertown Cemetery, Watertown. Calling hours are 3pm – 6pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
