Barbara S. Frear, 82, passed away Tuesday, August 29, at home. Born to parents John and Sophie Csejka and raised in Schenectady, NY, she lived most of her life and raised her own family in Baldwinsville. Barbara worked for the Baldwinsville Messenger newspaper for several years and was known by all her friends and neighbors for her Christmas Cookie trays.

Barbara is predeceased by her parents and brother, John Csejka.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 62 years, Richard Frear; and her six children, William Frear, Debra Eckel, John Frear, Timothy(Jan) Frear, Richard Frear, and Rebecca (Terry) Graham; sisters, Anne Csejka and Irene Worthington; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are 4-7 pm Saturday, September 2 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St, Baldwinsville. A service will follow at 7 pm at the funeral home.
