Arthur Franke, October 29th, 2022.

It is with great sorrow that the Family of Arthur Franke announces his passing on Saturday, October 29th, 2022. Arthur was born in Brooklyn New York on September 24th, 1939. He was a principal engineering technician for the New York state department of transportation.

Art graduated from South Lancaster Academy in South Lancaster New York. He was married on September 27th, 1959, to Virginia A. Franke and they had three children. Art was known for his interest in classic cars and received many trophies from his prize mustangs. He loved the outdoors, walking, biking, and spending time with his family. He also enjoyed photography and loved his shelties.

Art is predeceased by his father Waldemar A Franke and his mother Gladys McGregor Franke, his three sisters Ellen Sochia, Ginger Kissmer, Doris Franke, and his dog Cody. He is survived by his wife Virginia A Franke. Daughters Laura (Neal) Cook, Jill Westcott, & his son Edward A Franke. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Ben (Nina) Cook, Adam (Jessica) Cook, Kimberly Franke, Nicole (Dustin) Florczykowski, Andrew Franke, Lindsay Franke, Lonzo (Margaret) Passage, Jason Westcott, and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
