Arnold Eric Schneider, 90, of Baldwinsville, NY, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2024.

Arnold was born on July 17, 1934 in Syracuse, NY, to Eric and Anna Schneider. He graduated from Solvay High School, was a United States Army Veteran and worked for General Motors as a welder for 26 years. He was proud of his perfect attendance both in school and his years at GM. Arnie was a member of the 4 F's Fishing Club, founding member of the Baldwinsville Hockey Booster Club, member of the Lakeside and Plainville fire departments. He enjoyed his fishing trips, weekly bowling, tending to his vegetable garden, watching sports, playing cards and summer vacations in Clayton, NY. Above all, he cherished his family. He raised his children in the home he built in Baldwinsville, where beautiful memories were made and holidays celebrated. He will be remembered by his family and all who came in contact with him as a man of positivity, laughter and great stories. He was the best Papa and the life of the party.

Arnold is preceded by his parents, Eric and Anna Schneider; sister, Doris Delaney; infant son, Arnold Schneider.

Arnold is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 63 years, Beverly; children, Kathleen (Michael) Oemcke, Julie (Michael) Vecchio, Amy Coomey, Eric Schneider; grandchildren Nick (Megan) Vecchio, Carlin Coomey, Alexa (Robert) Dearing, Emma (Mike) Flynn, Jessica Oemcke, Stephany Oemcke, Lucas Vecchio, Ella Virginia; great granddaughter Adelina Dearing; sister-in-law Susan Mills; Nancy Snow and Family.

Calling hours will be Sunday, 3:00-5:00 PM at Falardeau Funeral Home, Baldwinsville. Funeral services will be held on Monday, 10:00 AM at Falardeau Funeral Home with burial immediately following at Mary's Cemetery, Baldwinsville, NY.
