Anthony C. Castro, 13, of Baldwinsville passed away Saturday, January 13, 2007 at his home with his family after a long courageous battle with a cancerous brain tumor. Anthony last attended Ray Middle School in Baldwinsville where he was on the Honor Roll. Anthony enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his friends and family, especially his older brother José, Jr. Anthony was predeceased by a younger brother Zachary T. Castro and his maternal grandparents, Chester & Bertha Stefanowicz.

Anthony is survived by his parents, José and Debra Castro of Baldwinsville; his brother José Castro, Jr. of Baldwinsville; his paternal grandparents, Juan Castro and Rosalvina Avila of Jalisco, Mexico; he is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services: 11:00am Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at St. Mary's Church, Baldwinsville. Burial, Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse. Calling hours are 4-8pm Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville.
