Anne M. Miller of Mattydale, NY died at her home on February 25th, 2022 after a short illness at the age of 63. She was a communicant of St. Sophia's Greek Orthodox Church, 325 Waring Rd., Syracuse, NY.

Anne is survived by her husband of 37 years George J. Miller; her mother Florence (Karafile) Naum; her brother, Christopher (Lori) Naum of Liverpool and three nieces Lauren, Ashley, and Emily.

She was predeceased by her father John Naum.

Anne was born on September 23rd,1958, and grew up in Liverpool, NY. She graduated from Liverpool High School in 1976. She then attended Morrisville College graduating in 1978 with an Associate's Degree in Accounting. She then worked for Onondaga County until retiring early due to poor health in 2007.

Anne met and later fell in love with George Miller. They were both married in 1986 and then bought a home in Mattydale.

Anne had a variety of interests. Her father was a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Culinary School and worked for many years as an executive chef in the Syracuse area. He taught her a love of cooking. Anne loved to cook! She especially loved to share the food of her family's home region of Macedonia. Anne liked to garden and was proud of her flowers. She loved talking about them with her sisters-in-law who also loved gardening. They often shared their "tips" for success. Anne was very outgoing and loved visiting with family and friends. She always brought smiles and laughter, especially at family holiday gatherings.

In her later years, Anne and her Husband George spent a lot of their time caring for their four "exotic" birds. Two of them were named "Pebbles" and "Bam Bam"! They both loved their birds and gained a lot of satisfaction and joy from them.

Burial will be in Lysander Union Cemetery, Onondaga County, New York.
