Anna Sjoblom Coates, 74, of Baldwinsville passed away Friday, May 7, 2004 at Birchwood Health Care Center. She was born in Brooklyn, NY the daughter of Karl and Mary K. Sjoblom. Anna graduated from the Arnot-Ogden School of Nursing in Elmira and worked several years as plant nurse and safety supervisor at Gerber Baby Foods in Rochester. She moved to Baldwinsville in 1985 from the Rochester area. An avid reader, Anna worked a short time at the Onondaga County Public Library. She was predeceased by her husband, George Coates, her parents Karl and Mary Sjoblom, and brothers Karl and Edward Sjoblom.

Survivors: a sister, Norma Sjoblom of Baldwinsville and several nieces and nephews.
