Angela M. Kowalski passed away July 8th at Syracuse Home after a short illness. A Syracuse native, she attended school in the Syracuse area, and upon graduation, attended and graduated from St. Joseph's School of Nursing as a registered nurse. After marriage to her husband, Richard Kowalski of Baldwinsville, she continued to work in the nursing field on a part time basis as time allowed while raising a family, always prioritizing the needs of her family. Her joy was time spent with family and enjoyed discussing world events and politics around the dinner table. She actively practiced her Catholic faith, and valued the time spent studying the Bible and tenets of her faith. She loved birds and all animals, an interest passed down to her sons, and was a dachshund owner. Their companionship gave her great pleasure. She was particularly passionate about the right to life for the unborn. Although they enjoyed retirement in Albuquerque NM, Dick and Angela felt compelled to return to their family roots, and relocated to Baldwinsville, and enjoyed many years living in McHarrie Town. Although highly intelligent and possessed of a quick wit, she was likewise a woman of simple needs, wants and desires. She passed on lessons in character and integrity by example. She will be eternally missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents Peter and Anna Rossomano, husband Richard, and brothers Peter and Joseph.

She is survived by her sons Richard of Kaiserslautern, Germany, and Peter of Brussels, Belgium, sister Frances, numerous nieces and nephews, and granddaughter Lauren of Brussels, Belgium.

A funeral mass will be held at 10AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Baldwinsville on September 13, 2023.
