Andrew A. Sitar, 80, of Baldwinsville passed away Monday, September 28, 2009 at Crouse Hospital. He was born in Everett, MA and moved to the Syracuse area in 1977. He was an Army Veteran of WWII and retired in 1991 as Vice President of Distribution at P&C Food Market after 15 years. Andrew enjoyed boating, sailing, bowling and family gatherings.

Survivors: his wife of 15 years the former Sharon A. Sojdak; two daughters, Charmaine (Paul) McGuigan of Mount Laurel, NJ, Kim Bennett of Woodlands, TX; two sons, Andrew (Sandy) Sitar of Lakeland and Wayne (Jean) Sitar of Commack, NY; 15 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Services: 11:00am Saturday, October 3, 2009 at St. Mary's Church, Baldwinsville. Burial, Eglington Cemetery, Swedesboro, NJ. Calling hours are 4-7pm Friday, ctober 2, 2009 at Falardeau Funeral Home, 93 Downer St., Baldwinsville.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to a trust for two of Andrew's great grandchildren, Tyler Gravener (5yrs) and Charmaine Gravener (1yr) will be receiving liver transplants soon and their family needs financial assistance with medical costs.
