It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Andrew John Carey, 54, of Weaverville, California. A long-time resident of Baldwinsville, NY. Andy graduated from C. W. Baker High School in 1987.

Anyone who was blessed to have known him knew Andy was a kind and caring soul with a heart of gold, he was always ready to make a new friend, share a laugh or lend a hand. He was a joyful spirit and never had an unkind word for anyone. Andy loved the outdoors, especially hiking and camping in Denver where he lived for many years. His favorite hiking companions were his partner Kim and their beloved black lab, Kenosha.

Andy is predeceased by his father, R.E. Carey, his Dad, Robert .L Neff and his sister Amy Cotten.

He is survived by his mother Joanne E. Neff of Baldwinsville, his life partner Kimberly Jones of Weaverville, CA, his brother Lee (Bonnie) Neff, Il of Port St. Lucie, FL, sister Shannon (Joseph) Cavedine of Baldwinsville, NY, brother Robert (Laurie) Carey of Cato, NY and brother Adam Neff of West Palm Beach, FL; his nieces, Jenna (Chris) Jung, Emily Cavedine, Elizabeth Arocho, and Kimberly Neff, nephews, Joey (Amber) Cavedine and Robb Neff, and great nieces Adriana Arocho and Esme Jung and great nephew Luca Jung, along with many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A Celebration of life will be held on Sunday, July 30, 2023 from 2-5 PM at the Fireside Inn, 2347 W. Genesee Rd, Baldwinsville, NY 13027.  In lieu of flowers or donations, please consider becoming an organ donor.   Andrew John Carey...lover of life.
