Amy Beth Barden, 47, of Syracuse passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2014, at St. Josephs Hospital. She was born in Syracuse and resided in Baldwinsville most of her life before moving to Syracuse. Amy was a graduate of Baker High School in Baldwinsville and received her bachelor degree from SUNY Plattsburg. She was employed with the Syracuse Public Library for nearly 20 years in the Local History Department.

She was predeceased by her mother, Elizabeth Carrie Barden.

Survivors: her father, Jon J. Barden; her sister and brother-in-law, Sheila and Robert Puzio; a niece, Courtney; three nephews, Caleb, Micah and Jesse; and two aunts, Dorothy Carrie and Sheila Carrie.

Services will be at the convenience of the family.
