IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Amelia "Amy"
Ellingworth
August 7, 1979 – December 28, 2024
Amelia "Amy" Ellingworth, 45, passed away Saturday, December 28, 2024, at Mt. Sinai Hospital. Born in Fort Polk, LA, she and her parents moved to Baldwinsville in 1980. Amy was a graduate of C.W. Baker High School and SUNY Binghamton. She was currently CFO for ARISE Child and Family Services in Syracuse and was previously employed as CFO for Syracuse Community Health Center.
Amy was very active with the Baldwinsville Bee's Pop Warner Football program, serving as the treasurer. Amy's spirit and drive were only overshadowed by her love for her family, especially her boys. She enjoyed traveling with her family, sushi dates with her husband, and spending time at her family's camp with her mother, siblings and extended family. She had an infectious smile and to know her was to love her! In 1985 Amy had a life saving liver transplant. Her family would like to thank her donor's father, Richard, for his selfless gift that allowed us to spend 39 more years with her.
She was predeceased by her father, Henry Collins.
Amy is survived by her husband of 16 years, Mike; two sons, Cody and Owen; mother, Katherine "Kate" Collins; siblings, Virginia (Daniel) Williams, H. Eaton (Julie) Collins and Elizabeth (David) Azinheira; and many nieces, nephews, her aunts, uncles, and cousins.
