Alonzo W. "Lonnie" Peterson, 70, of Baldwinsville passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at St. Josephs Hospital. He was a 1964 graduate of CCBI, Syracuse. He worked as a Clerk for Niagara Mohawk for 37 years before retiring in 2003. Lonnie was a communicant of St. Mary's Church, Baldwinsville and enjoyed spending time with family and doing puzzles. Lonnie was predeceased by brothers Robert and Raymond.

Survivors: his wife of 48 years, Joan L. (Korthas) Peterson of Baldwinsville; his daughter Mindy (Chris) Caporin of Fayetteville; 2 sons, Alonzo (Regina) Peterson of MO. And John Peterson of N. Syracuse; 2 brothers, Laurence (Carolyn) Peterson of Memphis, NY and James (Karen) Peterson of Baldwinsville; his sister, Elsie Peterson of Baldwinsville; 4 grandchildren.

Services: 8:30am Monday, May 21, 2012 at Falardeau Funeral Home and 9:00am at St. Mary's Church, Baldwinsville. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Baldwinsville. Calling hours are 2-5pm Sunday, May 20, 2012 at the funeral home, 93 Downer Street.
