Allan D. Branchau, 76, of Baldwinsville, passed away Thursday.

Born in Fulton, Allan retired as a journeyman electrician from New Process Gear after 18 years, where he worked with his best friend. After retirement, he was employed with Anheuser-Busch in Baldwinsville for six years.

Allan was a veteran of the US Navy during the Vietnam conflict. He enjoyed fishing, motorcycling, bicycling, history, and his dogs, Daisy and Emmett.

Allan was predeceased by parents, Margaret and John; brother, Rod Loucks; and best friend, Bernard Wheeler.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sheila; children, Robert, Morgan, and Tracy (Ron) Lundgren; three granddaughters, Gabriella, Taelor, and Brynlee; siblings, Larry (Arthur) Loucks, Gary (Karrie) Loucks, Cheryl (Charlie) Bryant, and Colleen (David) Schlegel; several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 21, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Falardeau Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 6 p.m. Burial will be private.
